Quakes 2012 News
** UPDATE**

Unfortunately we are going to cancel the Sunday schedule of the tournament. The fields are unplayable until after the noon hour. We apologize for the unfortunate weather.

--------------------

As of 7:15 a.m., all fields have standing water. It appears that Papillion was hit very hard from the storms. There are large trees down in Halleck Park (Volunteer/Blondy Ruff Fields) as well as outfield fencing at Papio Bay Fields. City crews are in the process of removing tree limbs that could potentially pose a danger.

They have also attempted to get onto the fields to remove the standing water but have been unsuccessful on most of them because they are too soft to walk on at the current time. They will make another attempt at 8:00.

We will continue to monitor the weather forecast which appears to show clearing until early afternoon followed by the potential for more storms.

Check back for continued updates. Thanks for your patience.

We will also continue to update the weather line (402) 707-2118 for those that will be away from their computers.
