Monday 5/19 Game Results 05/19/08 Monday 5/19 Quakes Black Double Header || The Ladies split games on a very windy and dusty evening. || Game 1, Quakes Black vs. Sizzle Red Final Score 8 – 10 | The ladies were down and mounted a comeback that ended up just short of a victory. Breanna struck out four batters before receiving a little help from Paige who struck out two. The ladies had great plate appearances and supported their team with good defensive plays, stolen bases and hits from Hannah, Raquell, Brianna and Paige who hit a single and a double. || Game 2, Quakes Black vs. Echoes Final Score 7 – 3 | Behind good pitching, some good defensive plays and run support from the entire team the ladies finished the second game of their doubleheader with a victory. Paige struck out four batters. Bailey and Hannah each had a hit.

Suburan Pride Game Results 05/18/08 NOTES: Suburban Pride Tournament results. || Game 1, Quakes Black vs. Sizzle Red, Final Score 8 – 2 | The ladies started the tournament with a win behind the pitching of Breanna who struck out 12 batters and run support from her entire team along with hits from Logan, Chyann, Brianna, Marissa, Cailin and Zoeie. || Game 2, Quakes Black vs. Nebraska Nemesis 98, Final Score 5 -6 | The ladies lost a real close one here with the game coming down to a close play at the plate. Breanna hit a double and Cailin singled to help the quakes keep a close game with the Nemesis. || Game 3, Quakes Black vs Lincoln Strikers, Final Score 11 – 10 | The ladies stormed out of the gate putting runs on the board supported by hitting from Paige, Hannah, Breanna and Logan who hit a double. Paige struck out six batters as the ladies managed to hang on for the win. || Game 4 Semifinal, Quakes Black vs Sizzle Red, Final Score 5 – 1 | Logan came out firing strikes as she retired 11 batters by strikeout. The ladies once again put runs on the board with hits from Brianna, Zoeie and two singles from Hannah. || Game 5 Championship Game, Quakes Black vs NE Nemesis 98, Final Score 0 – 10 | After a long weekend of softball the ladies came up just short of a championship. As result of the entire teams efforts through pitching, hitting, base stealing, good eyes at the plate, and defensive plays the ladies finished as tournament champion runner-up. This accomplishment netted them a birth in the USSSA 10U B Nationals in Independence, MO. July 20th thru July 27th 2008. Way to go ladies! Great Job!

Game 2, Quakes Black vs. Omaha Sluggers Final Score 0 - 12 Paige struck out seven batters.

Team Notes from the last tournament and previ 05/07/08 Hello everyone, I am posting the notes from the last tournament and previous weeks league games. I will try to keep the information as current as I can. Hopefully starting next week notes will be added soon after games, give or a take a few hours. NOTES: Quakes Tournament April 25-26-27 Record 1-3 Game 1 Sat. 4/26 Quakes Black vs. Ralston Roadrunners, Final Score 3 - 2 Logan struck out eight batters and Raquell, Chyann and Hannah each had hits in the game. Game 2 Sat. 4/26 Quakes Black vs. NE Diamonds, Final Score 3 - 4 The ladies lost a close one with Paige striking out six batters. Raquell hit a double and Brianna a single. Game 3 Sat. 4/26 Quakes Black vs. NE Nemesis, Final Score 2 - 7 Just as the ladies were poised for a comeback father time decided the game must end. The ladies had pitching performances from both Cali, who struck out one batter and Logan who struck out four. Game 4 Sun. 4/27 Quakes Black vs. NE Nemesis, Final Score 0 - 10 In this game Logan struck out three batters and Marissa singled. League Games: Monday 4/28 Quakes Black Double Header vs. Omaha Sluggers Game 1, Final Score 15 - 4 Paige struck out nine batters and the ladies had hits from Chyann, Hannah, Zoeie and Bailey. Game 2, Final Score 16 - 9 Logan struck out eight batters and the ladies had hits from Brianna, Marissa and Cailin.
