| Quakes Red ran the field winning 5 straight to get to the championship game against Quakes Silver. We ran out of gas but probably played our best games to date! Nothing to be ashamed of, this Editor thinks we were only a hair away from capturing our first title of the year, and Silver knew it! |

8 Long Games to qualify for USSSA Nationals

| Quakes played 8 games, including 3 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday, finishing 2nd to the Evil Empire (Sizzle Blue). If not for 6 extremely tough and corageous but injured players we might have went the distance. This was a great tournament but a very costly one with Happy, Seeds, Mari, Bear, all were injured by the end of this game, and Jess already out! Amazing is the only word for the effort. |

| Another Sunday to remember as Quakes Red scores big on Sunday and avenges a Saturday Loss to Omaha Patriots meet the Omaha Lazers in the championship. Falling 2-1 our bats betrayed us in the championship game, while our gloves, and pitching remained strong. |

| Quakes Red took second place with amazing play on Sunday after going 0-3 in the Quakes Classic AFA Qualifing Tournament. Pitching, fielding, and the occasional timely hits were the theme of the day!
